The size of the holder measures 53cm x 13cm from one outer edge to the other.

Plate holders, in principal, look great. Couple of issues with the ones I received:
- one of the holders had a "gouge" in it on the upper edge. However, I placed this on the front of the car as that's more susceptible to being hit by stones etc when motorway driving so less prominent.
- one of the 3 "snap fit" lugs on the back of the nameplate (that keep the plates in place) broke when removing it to put the plate in. So far, this hasn't been an issue as the nameplate also slots in at each end so still fairly secure.
So yes, happy with the product in general.
A bit disappointed with the delivery time as quoted as "next business day" delivery. I ordered the holders at lunchtime on the Monday but didn't receive them until the Thursday evening.
These Plate Holders keep the Letters intact, since the fixing points provided require them to be drilled, if no holder is used.
If using Raised Plates, drilling them would probably shatter the letters.
